bubbleform — tattoo
Tattoo.
I've recently learned to do handpoke. Enjoying practicing on real skin.
Approach
I work entirely by hand, no machine. Handpoke, one dot at a time. The slowness is the point. There's something meditative in the repetition, and repetition is where I feel most at home. It's how my brain works, and it's what the practice gives back to me.
I think in dots and texture. Most of my ideas start abstract, built up from small marks rather than drawn as clean lines. I do both custom pieces and flash, and right now I'm developing my practice mostly on friends, which keeps things honest and low-pressure.
Above everything, I want the experience to feel safe. I tattoo gently and carefully, and I pay close attention to how you're feeling the whole way through. Your comfort and your consent come first, always.
